Dr. Bhumija’s Work … illustrating the 4th Dimension

Our senses and thinking can make us feel the world that is beyond these 2 or 3 dimensions. An artist’s unique and creative innovations enable us to experience the 4th dimension through sound, touch and feel the depth of the matter. Dr. Bhumija’s work exhibits the world of relativity through unfamiliar mediums, materials, and processes. Art medium has been used to present factual science and infinity in mathematics. Her profound thoughts, learning, and innovative techniques bring out a unique way of looking at the matter and dynamics of 4th dimension. Her works are a good representation of critical thinking and creative practice.

Dr. Bhumija’s Work @London

Dr. Bhumija’s several works were displayed in the Hampstead School of Fine Arts (HSoA) Advanced Class and Foundation’s course graduating exhibition in 2018 at London, England

Dr. Bhumija’s work exhibits a mélange of shades, tints, and hues reflecting the force of her creativity and the magnitude of themes from the mundane. These works are a reflection of the inner strength of thoughts translated into images and installations bearing resemblance to the ideas of Indian culture and the ideals of Gandhiji to not conform to sameness but have a continuous quest for ultimate reality.

BLOOM-2 . My monoprints ‘Bloom ‘are a small model of the cosmos where each small dot has got its own individuality and beauty which is created by some unknown force. Each of us and even smallest particle is a part of this cosmos and has own contribution for the balance which is important for this creation. I have also done a ceramic vase based on the same topic and its spiral shape represents the ‘Infinity’ of the cosmos.

The Tiga Trusteers

 

 

Stories are considered one of the best mediums for representing the virtues from time to immortal. The author uses the fictional story in the contemporary background using her illustrative hand painting medium to represent Empowerment & Responsibility.

Dr. Bhumija has tried to highlight individuals’ responsibility towards their own health and social well-being and the compassion exhibited by the empowered ones. The bright colorful background and modern portrayal of characters remind one of their favourite heroes from the fictional world.

Association with NCSM, Malaysia

Dr. Bhumija is associated with The National Cancer Society, Malaysia; and contributes to cancer awareness and fund-raising programs which are organized by the society. Her bright hand-painted cards lighten up the spirit and express her gratefulness for life.

As Educator

Dr. Bhumija was involved in teaching visual art and Crafts encouraging pupils to creativity beyond boundaries and without any fear; and understood that fine art is capable of revealing the concealed creativity which brings about change in perception and outlook towards life.
